Ratty Matty's Wallet

Here's an in progress pic of a wallet I made for my boy, Ratty Matty. It's his artwork on the front, he's a sick tattoo artist. I'll have to get some pictures of it next time I see him, I didn't take any of it when it was done...

While we're on the subject of leather...

Here's a knife sheath I made for a little 4.5" knife I bought at an antique shop not too long ago. The sheath it came with was not in such great shape so project time! It was my first knife sheath and only my third leather tooling project, but I think it came out pretty good.

Seat...

Here is my first idea for the seat design for the XS... I may or may not run it, not sure yet. Now comes the "fun" part, assembling and sewing the seat up! Anyone have any tips, this will be my first seat made?

New Frame...

So I went back and forth on what to do with the frame for this bike. I knew I wanted a hardtail, but should I go for a weld on or go with a whole new frame? Then again, my girl thought some suspension might be nice too and I had been liking those little BratStyle bikes out of Japan. Well, a new hardtail frame won out so here she is... 32 degress rake, single downtube, +2" stretch in the back, 4.5" off the ground. It was a low cost eBay buy but the start of exactly what I was looking for. It's gonna need some work, welding, grinding and whatnot, but it's a start. Anyway, I had to see how she was gonna look with some shoes on so from frame to roller. Oh, the bars are from Slim at Slim's Fab and the headlight is what i'm leaning towards, it's a small old FORD spotlight. Would love to find an amber lens for it. Anyway, now I'm on the hunt for a 21" wheel or rim I can lace up to a small drum hub. As far as the rear goes, I can't decide on sticking with the stock 18" or going for the classic 16"/21" combo. Probably sticking with the 18", I want this bike SKINNY.
